For the first few steps, don't press down too hard with your pencil. Apply lite, smoothen strokes to begin.

Step one: Lightly sketch two small circles for the koala's eyes. When you get the shapes right, darken the lines. Don't draw the eyes too close together. Leave room in the centre for the nose. Shade in the optics but get out a couple of circles blank inside each eye to represent glare. The center on the correct should be a tiny bit smaller than the eye on the left.

Pace 2: Between the eyes, draw a small arc similar to an upside-down alphabetic character U for the olfactory organ. Add together a small line at the lesser to shut off the shape of the koala's nose.

Pace iii: Below the nose, draw a brusk, horizontal line for the lesser of the head. On the correct, curve the line up to create the koala'southward cheek. Curve the line up on the left side likewise to create the other cheek.

Step 4: Continue to describe the line on the right side upwardly and then to the left for the top of the caput. Pay attending to how high the head goes. Sketch lightly at first to go the line right. When you go the shape correct, darken the line. Add together a couple of jagged lines at the top for the koala's fur.

Stride five: On the left side of the head, draw a curved line for the offset ear. Koalas have big ears, so make this curved line large. It should be similar to the letter C. Add some jagged lines along the way to represent fur.
